Meet Nancy

Nancy McKenzie researches, writes, and edits documents to provide her clients with polished products they are proud to present. She ensures clarity, readability, logical organization, correct grammar, and appropriate messaging for intended audiences. Her clients in Canada and the United States have included U.S. and Canadian government agencies, government contractors, nonprofits, individuals in diverse fields, and international cooperatives such as The World Bank.

She has researched, written, and edited thousands of documents for national and international distribution to broad audiences, ranging from complex technical reports of several hundred pages to short letters. Themes have covered fields such as health and medicine, the environment, education, nutrition, science, law, engineering, government programs, construction and the trades, fashion and design, podcasts, business, cooking and restaurant management, and countless others. 

Over many years, Nancy has trained and mentored dozens of editors and writers on the principles of concise and effective writing and offers this help to those who might like to improve their skills. She particularly enjoys collaborating with individuals to create a resume and cover letter to help them get the job they most want. She believes developing any written product should be an enjoyable—not stressful—journey, and she likes to help others find that path. She holds a master’s degree in English and brings decades of experience and a positive outlook to any writing or editing task.
